First Wedding

Hi, well I did my very first wedding this weekend.... and as nervous as I was.. it was really fun and exciting. I learnt a lot from this experience, and know what kind of equipment I will be needing in the future.
I will be posting a couple samples today, and I am just thrilled at the outcome of the pics. IT's such a huge responsibility, but being part of that special moment.. is amazing, and exhausting.

I want to thank the happy couple Lee and Melissa for letting me apart of this, and A HUGE THANK to Lee's sister Lindsay.

So I'm trying to take my photography to a next level, which is action shots. I'm trying to capture that moment... but aren't we all.....

exhausted but worth it

Today I'm really tired, but I'm not complaining.

Addy has been having a bit of a ruff time going to bed, with the heat, and adjusting to a new little person bed. Sooooooooo I have been letting her cuddle with mommy in my bed. I tell ya, there is nothing like getting a little kiss, and a hug.  My favorite are the "in the middle of the night" wake ups, just to make sure you are there.  

I just love her.

Visit with Vanessa and Pete

On the way to the lake, Addy and I stopped in Naniamo to visit Vanessa and Pete.
Pete took out his guitar and started to play for Addy. She was thrilled and amazed at the sound that was coming out.

First Camping Trip

Well here we are... Addy's first camping trip..
There are SOOOO many pictures I thought I would give a teaser.... Sproat lake once again was amazing, and we have an amazing time. Addy LOVED the water and boating.

Canada Day

Today was a GREAAT day
Addy and I spent the day at a water park and playground.. it was soo much fun. We were with Andrea, Kara and the boys.. Addy had a blast. This kid is fearless.. and after taking over 500 pictures (thank god for digital) it was time to go home...
The weather is fantastic, and I have a sunburn on my back.. I'm happy to be alive!!!

Adele was the best thing that ever happened to me.. Its funny you hear that saying all the time, and you think ya ya... but until it happenes to you, until you hold and cuddle and when they wrap their little arms around you.... NOTHING can compare to that. Unconditional LOVE... I have loved, and been loved... but nothing can reallly prepare you for the love that a child gives you...
